Fading star snubs upstart network

Exasperated producer has his hands full with Fading Star, who refuses to guest on struggling shows in an upstart network. FS seems to prefer only established programs in the leading channels.

Does FS think she’s still in demand? Is she living in the past? EP only wants to help her latest project, which apparently no one has heard of.

Ties that bind

Insiders suspect Feisty Starlet and Pugnacious Ex-Boyfriend had secretly tied the knot. Was that why FS saw red and raised hell when they parted ways? Was that why FS got jealous when PE bounced back and started dating other gals?

Mole quips that FS is as jumpy as a cat on a hot tin roof.

Big celeb onstage

If plans push through, Major Star will make a grand stage debut in Tanghalang Pilipino’s “Larawan” early next year.

MS has yet to sign the dotted line but has supposedly expressed interest in the project. Apparently, “Larawan” was among the first plays that MS watched as a child. “It has always been MS’ dream to portray a lead character in Nick Joaquin’s play,” a source said.

Scripted tears

Controversial Star gave a tearful interview recently. It was waterworks galore; CS pulled out all the stops and played underdog to the hilt.

There was just one snag in the scenario: CS uttered a line that came straight from a movie, previously delivered by Award-Winning Mom of the rumored new beau of CS.

Is CS nothing but a second-rate, trying hard copycat?

Frenemies exposed

They tried to be civil, but something had to give. Pretty Star 1 is obviously upset with Pretty Star 2.

WILLIE Revillame

PS2 tried to hide her misgivings about working with PS1. Soon enough, the two had a “confrontation.”

Was that because it became apparent that PS2 is the real star of the project—and favorite of their employers?

Happy birthdays!

Model mode

SAO PAULO—US model-turned-actor Ashton Kutcher grabbed the celebrity spotlight at the Sao Paulo Fashion Week late Wednesday, sauntering down the runway one last time before taking the starring role in the hit TV comedy “Two and a Half Men.”

The 33-year-old, who is married to Hollywood star Demi Moore, opened the show for Brazilian label Colcci, walking down the runway with Brazilian model Alessandra Ambrosio.

He then promptly sat down in the audience, where he remained for the rest of the show—disappointing Brazilian photographers and the crowd, who had been hoping to see Kutcher strut his stuff among the cast of models.

As soon as the show ended, Kutcher was hurriedly ushered out a side exit before cameramen or autograph-hunters could approach. AFP

Dahil daw sa pekeng fans na nanlalait sa kanya, Charice nagtaray sa Twitter. (Ayan na.)

Matet gustong mahawa sa ganda ni KC. (Kami rin!)
