Cherie Gil proud of daughter Bianca Rogoff’s first feature film

Cherie Gil could not help being proud of her daughter Bianca Rogoff’s feature film debut, which involved both of them.

The mom and daughter star in “Sensitive and in Love,” which premiered on Wednesday, Jan. 29, in New York.

“An amazing milestone once again in my daughter’s life as an actor and I can’t express how proud I am. I am just so happy to be with her and the family on this special occasion,” Gil said in her Instagram post yesterday, Jan. 30. Her kids Jay Eigenmann and Raph Rogoff attended the screening too.

Gil also shared a video of Bianca speaking at the Q&A after the premiere, where she said the film helped her in “getting in touch with my Filipino roots.”

The film follows siblings Jessica (Madeleine Humphries) and Robbie (Jose Rosete), who are grappling with being highly sensitive after going through a traumatic childhood. Bianca portrays Robbie’s wife, while Gil takes on the role of Jessica’s therapist.

Besides Filipino actors, the movie has touches of the Philippines as scenes were shot in Manila and Palawan.

“Sensitive and in Love” is based on the works of psychologists Elaine and Arthur Aron who respectively authored “The Highly Sensitive Person” and “36 Questions for Creating Intimacy.”  /ra
