MANILA, Philippines — Rochelle Pangilinan has surprised husband Arthur Solinap for his 40th birthday by throwing him a basketball-themed birthday party.
As shown in photos posted in Pangilinan’s Instagram account on Wednesday, guests such as comedian Michael V and actor Gabby Eigenmann attended the celebration.
The party was held at a Japanese-Latin American restaurant in Quezon City.
Other photos also showed the restaurant decked in orange and black decor. Indie band Agsunta also serenaded the guests at the party.
Pangilinan also surprised her husband with a birthday cake, which was decorated to fit the party’s basketball theme.
And Pangilinan seemed to love how the cake turned out, saying that it was “absolutely perfect, beautifully decorated, EVERYTHING!”
After dating for nine years, Pangilinan and Solinap tied the knot in August 2017. The two welcomed a daughter, Shiloh Jayne, born February 2019.
