Sharon Cuneta rushed to hospital due to eye irritation
MANILA, Philippines — Megastar Sharon Cuneta has been rushed to the hospital due to a “painful” eye irritation.
Cuneta said Monday in an Instagram post she was taken to the emergency room of the Makati Medical Center after experiencing irritation in her eye.

“Majorly painful / painfully major eye irritation tonight. Had to be rushed to the Makati Med E.R.. Buti walang scratch or foreign body,” Cuneta said.
“Nairritate lang dahil sa bahay when it was itchy and a bit sakit I scratched and washed it,” she explained.
(It felt irritated at home. When it was itchy and a little bit painful, I scratched it and washed it.)
Cuneta did not give further details on what caused her eye irritation.
The actress’ post was attached with a photo of herself, one eye covered in gauze.
“Ayan. Kulang na lang makasama ko si Johnny Depp. Sabay na kami mag Pirates sa Caribbean,” Cuneta said, in jest.
(There. What’s left is for me to be with Johnny Depp. We’ll go together as Pirates of the Caribbean.)
