Makeup-free Rihanna won’t let her pimple get bashed: ‘Let her have her shine’

It appears that singer and entrepreneur Rihanna is not letting anyone rain on her parade this 2020 when she shot down a comment about her blemished face.
The Fenty Beauty brand owner showed to her fans a makeup-free selfie, to which a follower reacted by pointing out her pimple at the lower portion of her cheek, as seen on her Instagram account today, Jan. 7.
The pop R&B artist greeted the new year dressed in a baggy black jacket while she held her dreadlocks up to show off her bare face.
“[F]irst selfie of the year doe,” Rihanna said.

A certain @cheeetum noticed the singer’s acne and then asked her to let him pop it. Rihanna slammed the Instagram user by accepting her imperfection and saying: “[L]et her have her shine, PLEASE.”

The singer of “Umbrella” has been away from the music scene for years after she released her last album “Anti” in 2016. However, Rihanna has been hinting at a comeback December last year, much to her fans’ excitement.
In a post on Dec. 23, the pop singer suggested the new album was ready for listening, but refused to release it. The much-awaited album would be Rihanna’s ninth track compilation release.

Rihanna shared the easter egg on her new album by posting a video of a dog banging its head to hip hop trio House of Pain’s “Jump Around.” Rihanna teased her fans by saying, “Update: me listening to R9 by myself and refusing to release it.” /ra
