As Sharon Cuneta celebrates her 54th birthday today, Jan. 6, her daughters Frankie Pangilinan and KC Concepcion had some sweet words accompanied by nostalgic photos for the Megastar.
KC, Cuneta’s daughter with ex-husband Gabby Concepcion, promised to Cuneta that despite her shortcomings as a person, she always does her best to help and love her mother in any way she can.
“We may not be perfect, but in the many ways I know how to LOVE you, I have, I do and I always will,” KC said on her Instagram account yesterday, Jan. 5.
“I have done all I can to help you when I could and to make you proud knowing you had me so young. If I fail, I’m only human and I’m sorry. But I try my best,” she stressed.
KC’s birthday tribute came with a throwback photo of a very young KC smiling and holding hands with her mother.
“Happiest birthday to you mama. May your light shine brighter and brighter and I will see you soon. I love you and pray for your happiness always,” KC said.
Frankie, Cuneta’s daughter with husband Sen. Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, meanwhile had a more playful and witty approach, yet her greeting remains sweet all the same.
“Fifty-four is nothing when your magic is timeless and infinite,” the 19-year-old said on Instagram earlier today. “Happy birthday to beco’s babe, expert vehicular makeup artist, meatloaf connoisseur, record-holder for world’s longest pit stop, boy pablo enthusiast, professional book wrapper, monique, emmy, dorina, darna — my best friend. i love you more (promise).”
Frankie’s post also came with throwback solo portraits of Cuneta during her younger years.
Cuneta celebrated her birthday on ABS-CBN’s Sunday noontime show “ASAP” yesterday, where she was surprised by her husband, Frankie and her youngest daughter Miel.
KC meanwhile was not able to attend “for personal reasons,” which she apologized for to her mother on her birthday tribute.
Other than Frankie and Miel, Cuneta has a younger son with Pangilinan named Miguel. JB
