MANILA, Philippines — While most Filipino choose to spend Christmas at home with their family, other celebrities saw the holiday as an opportunity to fly abroad for a vacation.

Aubrey Miles, Troy Montero, and their brood chose to spend Christmas in Leavenworth, Washington, where they bundled up and played out in the snow.

Broadcaster Korina Sanchez; her husband, former Interior Secretary Mar Roxas; and twins Pepe and Pilar temporarily bid “Sayonara” to the Philippines and said hello to chilly Tokyo, Japan.

Julie Anne San Jose and her family too took a trip to the Land of the Rising Sun and enjoyed skiing in Hokkaido, which was filled with a blanket of snow.
