MANILA, Philippines – The 45th edition of the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) will kick off today, Sunday, December 22, 2019 with the annual Parade of Stars in Taguig City.
The eight movie entries will be featured in creative floats with cast members in tow.
The parade will start at 1 p.m., and end at 7 p.m.
MMFF Spokesperson Noel Ferrer shared with INQUIRER.net in a text message the order of parade appearance of the floats:
- Mission Unstoppable: The Don Identity (APT Entertainment/M-ZET TV Productions)
- Culion (iOptions Ventures)
- Write About Love (TBA Studios)
- 3pol Trobol Huli Ka Balbon! (CCM Film Productions)
- Miracle in Cell No. 7 (Viva Films)
- Sunod (Ten17P Films)
- Mindanao (Center Stage Production)
- The Mall, The Merrier (ABS-CBN Film Productions/Viva Films)
The parade will follow the following route:
*From Lakeshore C-6, right turn to M.L Quezon Avenue,
*Left turn to MRT Avenue, then right turn Cuasay,
*Right turn to CP Garcia (C-5) Service Road,
*Left turn to Upper Mckinley Road,
*Right turn to Lawton Avenue – 5th Street,
*Right turn again to Mckinley Parkway,
*Left turn to 32nd Street, left turn to 7th Avenue,
*Right to 26th Avenue, left turn to 5th Avenue,
*Right turn to LeGrand Avenue and Chateau Road
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), the festival organizer, has advised motorists to take alternate routes.
