Comics artist Alaguilan passes away

LOS BAÑOS, Laguna — San Pablo City-based comics artist Gerry Alanguilan passed away Saturday in his hometown.

Early morning, his wife Ilyn Florese posted on social media about her husband’s passing. No further details were available yet as of this writing.

Alanguilan was an inker for Marvel and DC comics. Locally, he was known for his original comics “Wasted,” and “Elmer.”

He was also the curator of the Komikero Comics Museum in his hometown where works of Filipino comics artists are displayed.
