Even though YouTube’s beloved “Grandpa” Narayana Reddy passed away just two months ago, his good work of feeding the needy remains alive, as his family took over his channel to continue his legacy.

The Indian YouTube star’s channel, named “Grandpa Kitchen”, is still active and has since uploaded 12 videos after the titular chef died on Oct. 27 at the age of 73.

His family’s latest act of kindness involved the family cooking a gigantic vegetable pizza, which they fed to a large group of children, as seen on a video uploaded last Tuesday, Dec. 10.

Aside from giving food, the family also donated clothes to the children.

The family paid homage to Reddy on Oct. 30 by uploading a tribute video, informing fans of the chef’s death while also honoring his good work.

Just days later, on Nov. 6, the channel uploaded a video with Reddy’s family members cooking elephant foot yam and mutton biryani, which they donated to orphans by end of the video, staying true to the “Grandpa Kitchen” legacy.

“A life not lived for others is not a life,” the video stated, quoting Catholic saint Mary Teresa Bojaxhiu, more famously known as Mother Teresa.

A male family member, who did not identify himself, thanked fans for their continued support, and promised that they (the relatives) will continue their grandpa’s legacy.

“Today, our grandpa is not with us. It is a very sad and painful moment for all of us. My grandpa always tells us not to stop this good cause and this good work in any situation,” he said.

“In this sad situation, whatever you showed us love and support, we will never forget it. Thanks for your support. I hope you are always [going to be] with us. We will continue our good work and good cause,” he added.

Starting only two years ago, “Grandpa Kitchen” has already amassed a large following of around 6.63 million subscribers worldwide, as of writing. JB
