As Korina Sanchez enjoys the life of being in the early stages of motherhood, she celebrated one of the first milestones parents could have: the first double-digit month of their children.

The “Rated K” host marked the 10th month of her twins Pepe and Pilar by highlighting their personalities and little quirks a mother like her could only love, through Instagram earlier today, Dec. 12.

For her boy Pepe, Sanchez boasted of how at 10 months, the baby boy can already stand on his own, can already chew cereal and how he loves the sun, among other things.

“My Little Boy Pepe. At 10 months old he can now bravely stand on his own while holding on to something,” she said. “He can pick up a cereal and place it in his mouth and chew! He is [a] champion eater.”

“He can ‘kiss mama.’ Loooves to walk and run on the race track…while we hold him up running with him. He yearns for an embrace and cheek to cheek with Mama,” she added.

Sanchez also noted how Pepe “idolizes” his father, Mar Roxas, and can even recognize and follow his voice whenever he hears it.

“He likes playing with buttons that respond and other mechanical reactions. He is a sun worshipper, so adores the garden and beach. Hindi naman umiitim (His skin does not get tanned),” she added. “Cool dude. Crumples his nose when you call him ‘guapo.’ That’s my Pepe at ten months.”

For her girl Pilar, Sanchez noted that while she cannot stand as sturdy as her twin, the baby girl “loves to dance,” and hates dressing up but still loves how she ends up looking when she sees herself in the mirror.

“My little girl Pilar. At 10 months she is finally crawling with confidence and can stand on her own holding on to something, though not as sturdy yet as her twin brother,” Sanchez said.

“Medyo masungit (slightly grumpy). BUT! Play a song and she will bounce her head, move her shoulders side to side, sway and smile big! She loves to DANCE,” she added.

Korina also highlighted how Pilar can already do high fives, and how she cooks up “the most creative ways to avoid opening her mouth halfway through every single meal.”

“Her version of lambing is spraying your face with laway when she does that thing with her tongue, nahawa na nga ako sa sipon nya (even I was infected),” she added. “She hates being dressed up — but loves the end result once she looks in the mirror. That’s my Pilar at ten months.”

The twins are Sanchez’s first children with her husband Roxas, who she has been married to since 2009. The twins were conceived through gestational surrogacy, as revealed by DZMM anchor Pat Daza last February in her radio show. NVG
