Gifted star wants the world to know she’s all grown up. She parties like there’s no tomorrow, according to online reports. Apart from club-hopping, she goes on drinking sprees with close pals.
GS has picked up other bad habits from those rowdy companions—like defying elders. Alarmed, Feisty Mom attempted to set GS straight. After a heated argument, GS somehow succeeded in having FM booted from her entourage.
After all, GS is now of legal age and can go anywhere without parental supervision.
Modern love
Talented Performer is smitten with Promising Newcomer.
TP has been extra-supportive of PN’s budding career—emphasis on “extra.” TP brought the neophyte to an exotic holiday destination, in the process breaking the heart of her Longtime Companion.
By the way, all the players in this love triangle are of the same gender. How modern!
Exploitation
Hunky Lothario knows how to use his good looks to his advantage.
HL has a strange effect on gay lovers, who willingly become his slaves just to win his affection. This includes a Show biz Insider, who had no qualms about acting as HL’s man-servant during their affair.
SI carried HL’s clothes to and from the studio, and generally worked as a production assistant (read: alalay).
Turns out, this wasn’t an isolated case.
Talented Artist also succumbed to HL’s charms and often acted as his chauffeur in all their time together.
What these guys did for love!
Harassed
Handsome Actor’s experience once again proves that men are not exempt from sexual harassment.
HA was purportedly “manhandled” by a gay production staffer on the set of a movie.
While rehearsing a pivotal scene, the staffer kept rubbing HA’s legs.
HA had every right to complain, but was too embarrassed to do so. As the staffer’s hands crept dangerously close to HA’s family jewels, another coworker intervened and put a stop to the staffer’s less than noble intentions.
Sinise in car mishap
MARTINSVILLE, Virginia—Officials with the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation say actor Gary Sinise has postponed a benefit concert by his Lt. Dan Band in Virginia after being involved in a car accident as a passenger.
Sinise was scheduled to perform in the concert at a high school in Martinsville on Saturday night. The concert is a fundraiser for Cpl. J.B. Kerns, a triple-amputee, and will be rebooked on a date to be determined, the organizers say.
John Hodge, spokesperson for the foundation, says Sinise was not seriously injured. AP
Expectant dad
LONDON—British pop singer Robbie Williams says he and his US actress wife Ayda Field are expecting their first child this year.
Williams—the voice behind such hits as “Kids” and. “Angels”—took to his blog on Friday to tell fans that he had “been keeping a secret.”
The 38-year-old star’s blog post says he and his wife, married in August 2010, “had seen scans of their baby and cried with happiness” at the news. He says the nursery is already planned and he “can’t wait to be a daddy.” AP
Top of the Talk Shows
For those who missed last weekend’s TV gabfests (and why we are moved, if we are moved):
Dolphy’s message to colleagues and fans: “Gusto ko pong magpasalamat sa patuloy niyong pagdarasal, na higit na nagpapalakas sa ’kin ngayon. Gustong-gusto ko kayong makapiling, pero nagpapalakas pa ako ngayon … Huwag kayong mag-alala, I’m okay. I love you all. Mwah!” (We also love all of you, Pidol!)
Manny Pacquiao on changing his ways: “The old Manny Pacquiao has gone; the new has come. Alam niyo namang nagsusugal ako, nag-iinom ako, ’yung pambababae, ’yung mga careless words na lumalabas sa bunganga ko, nagmumura ako, but makita niyo naman … God knows kung paano ako nagbago.” (That’s right, champ, only God knows.)
(Pacman, please exit frame!)
Krista Kleiner on her rumored breakup with Jay-R: “We’re working things out … Medyo fresh pa ’yung mga nangyari, kaya sa ngayon ’di pa kami handa na ikwento masyado.” (So konting kwento lang muna?)
Kris Bernal, asked if she’s been traumatized by past relationships: “’Di naman sa na-trauma ako … Pero kasi may natutunan ako, dahil du’n, alam ko na ’yung susunod kong gagawin. Mas maingat ako. Tapos na ako sa mga fling, pa-sweet, MU; du’n na ako sa seryosong relasyon. Hindi na ’yung palaro-laro.” (Parang trauma nga.)
Kylie Padilla on how she addresses BB Gandanghari: “Hindi ko naman sinasadya, minsan nadudulas ako, Tito Rustom pa rin … nasanay lang. Pero Tito BB na talaga.” (A BB by any other name…)
Kris Lawrence, asked if he loves Katrina Halili more now that she’s pregnant: “Sobra! I tell her every day she’s the most beautiful pregnant woman I’ve ever seen!” (Hmmm, this is a different tune altogether from last week.)
Former bit player Whitney Tyson, asked if she wants to enter show biz again: “Ang tagal ko nang gustong bumalik … kahit anong role pwede. Kahit gawin akong bruha o aswang!” (Naku, wala nang “Shake, Rattle and Roll”! )
Vicki Belo on Hayden Kho: “Nami-miss ko siya, but you have to choose. Kung sobra na ’yung sakit, aalis ka na lang.” (Your children are so wise.)
Jules Knight of British boy band Blake on KC Concepcion: “I’m very fond of her. We had dinner and I had a good time. I’m desperate to come back.” (Go, KC!)
Shaina Magdayao, asked if she’s pressured that her boyfriend John Lloyd Cruz is one of the country’s best actors: “No, kasi ’di naman po ako nakikipag-compete. He’s an inspiration.” (He’s most certainly a lot of things.)
PBB winner Slater Young, asked if he’s ready to enter show biz: “I’d really love to try … [I want to work with] Anne Curtis, KC Concepcion and Kim Chiu.” (Ambitious! But you have a good eye, young man.)
