MANILA, Philippines — Host and talent manager Ogie Diaz has asked self-declared “Appointed Son of God” Pastor Apollo Quiboloy to make Typhoon Tisoy “stop.”

Diaz made such an appeal on Tuesday over Facebook, as the Quiboloy earlier claimed he stopped the 6.6-magnitude earthquake that rocked North Cotabato in October.

“Pastor Quiboloy, sabihan mo na po ang #BagyongTisoy ng ‘Stop!’ O sa lindol lang po talaga kayo exclusive?” Diaz wrote.

(Pastor Quiboloy, please tell Typhoon Tisoy to ‘stop!’ Unless your ability is only exclusive to earthquakes?)

Quiboloy, televangelist and founder of the homegrown Christian sect Kingdom of Jesus Christ, the Name Above Every Name or KJC, earlier said he yelled at the quake to stop as it strongly sways North Cotabato, and it did.

President Rodrigo Duterte later said he believes Quiboloy did stop the earthquake that was felt in several parts of Mindanao, and killed at least eight people and wounded nearly 400 others.
