MANILA, Philippines — Jane De Leon appeared to be very happy as she met her fellow “Darna” Marian Rivera.
On her Instagram account on Thursday, the 21-year-old actress shared a photo of her smiling as she shared a hug with the Kapuso Primetime Queen.
De Leon added that she hopes to work with Rivera in the future.
“Happy to finally meet you po @marianrivera Thank you for all your kind words and sana magkawork po tayo (I hope we’ll work together) soon,” De Leon wrote in her Instagram post.
Rivera starred as Darna during GMA-7’s TV adaptation of the famed Filipina superhero in 2009.
Meanwhile, De Leon is set to star as the superhero in Star Cinema’s movie adaptation of Darna.
The movie, set to be directed by Jerrold Tarog, has no official release date yet as of this writing.
