Barbra Streisand had solicitous words for singer Ariana Grande, who was under the weather recently. The award-winning actor-singer posted: “Feel better soon @ArianaGrande. Take a strong Vitamin C drink with some Manuka honey and of course get some chicken soup. Bx”
Grande recently posted that she was “having trouble breathing and it’s hard to swallow … so ya gotta imagine going on a stroll with temperatures in the 30s is NOT what the doctor ordered.”
But the pop sensation braved New York’s chilly weather and her health issues to walk her pit-mix dog Myron. TMZ reported that she was “an incredible sight for sore eyes even in a puffy jacket and sweats.”
The entertainment site said, “Ariana over the weekend had said she’s dealing with a bad sinus infection and feared it may lead her to cancel some shows. She updated her fans last Sunday on Instagram and said she woke up even worse, which forced her to cancel her show that night in Lexington, Kentucky.”
But seeing her walking Myron kindled hopes she was feeling much better and was ready to return to the stage.
It’s in the genes
Jay-Z was just a proud papa when he posted a video of daughter Blue Ivy “testing” if she inherited her parents’ musical genes. The Instagram post said: “beysangs Blue Ivy wins her 1st award at age 7 with her feature on Brown Skin Girl! Young Legend, I Stan”
Blue Ivy is featured in the recording of “Brown Skin Girl” by her mother Beyoncé, Guyanese singer Saint Jhn and Nigerian singer Wizkid in the 2019 album “The Lion King: The Gift.” The song was on the Top 40/Rhythmic radio in July, as the second single from the film’s soundtrack.
