After being away from her daughter Tali for just a few days, Pauleen Luna realized how hard it could be for overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) who have to live away from their children, thus she expressed her admiration for them.

Luna and Vic Sotto had to leave Tali for four days for their appearance in the “Eat Bulaga” event in Dubai, United Arab Emirates last Friday, Nov. 15. The couple are co-hosts of the said noontime TV variety show.

After returning home, the doting mother spent some quality time with Tali, as seen in her Instagram post yesterday, Nov. 17. Luna constantly held Tali close as they enjoyed splashing around in a pool.

“That look on my daughter’s face is priceless. Making up for lost time,” she said. “I know it was only 4 days but it definitely felt longer than that.”

Luna then praised every OFW parent “who sacrifices their time away from their children to work for their future.”

“You are truly today’s heroes,” the actress-host stated.

Luna and Sotto welcomed little Tali into the world in November 2017, more than a year after they tied the knot in January 2016. JB
