Kylie Jenner denied sending a cease-and-desist letter to a clothing company selling shirts with “rise and shine” prints. The celebrity billionaire allegedly sent it to Cased Clothing, a clothing brand for motorsports enthusiasts.

“I have not sent any Rise and Shine cease and desist letters,” Jenner said on Twitter today, Nov. 11. Jenner appealed to the public to not believe everything they read online.

“Rise and Shine was an unexpected moment,” she said. “I had a lot of fun with it, and I have laughed so hard seeing everyone’s memes since the video came out a few days ago.”

“You may have seen CASED on the news regarding Kylie Jenner & the rise and shine slogan,” the company said. The clothing brand then stated that it is closing its website until the “drama” “blows over.”

“We currently do not and have never had a problem with Kylie Jenner,” the company clarified. “We are unsure where this all started and we do not want to be involved.”

After Jenner’s “rise and shine” video became viral last month, the entrepreneur began selling the merchandise on her shop. Jenner sold hoodies with her face and the slogan, “riiise and shiiinee” as seen on her shop’s Instagram, Oct. 18. Jenner has also applied to trademark the phrase for her clothing and cosmetic brand.
