The reigning Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray performed on stage with some of the music industry’s best singers in Frontrow’s event All In at the Philippine Arena, last Saturday, Nov. 9.
Gray sang Queen’s “We Are the Champions” with Sharon Cuneta, Regine Velasquez, Gary Valenciano, and other stars. A clip of her number was captured from a small screen of the tech viewing room of the arena. The moment was caught on camera by Instagram user @airxmnz, who uploaded it first on her Instagram Story yesterday, Nov. 10.
“My first time singing on stage in a few years at #FrontRowAllIn,” Gray said via the photo-sharing platform today, Nov. 11. “Completely forgot how it feels! So [honored] to have shared the stage with Philippine icons.”
Before she was even crowned Miss Universe, Gray has always been a musician. The beauty queen earned her master’s certificate in Music Theory from the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. The Miss Universe website also revealed that Gray is “known to spontaneously burst into song.”
Gray also uses her music to promote her advocacies. Her single “We’re In This Together”, released November last year, promotes one of the charities she supports, Young Focus Philippines. JB
