Erwan’s surprise message to Anne sends ‘Showtime’ viewers gushing
MANILA, Philippines — Actress-host Anne Curtis has received a surprise message from husband Erwan Heussaff that melted hearts of viewers when she announced her pregnancy in noontime show “It’s Showtime.”

“Magiging mommy na ako! (I’m going to be a mom!),” Curtis said during Monday’s edition of “It’s Showtime”, where she also took the opportunity to thank supporters for their love after announcing her pregnancy.
“I’m very, very happy. Erwan and I are very happy. Again, maraming maraming salamat (thank you very much) to everyone, the overflowing love talaga na (that) we received after announcing yesterday, for Erwan and I,” she added.
Curtis’ fellow hosts in the noontime show each gave their congratulatory messages to the soon-to-be mother before a video of Heussaff appeared on the set’s screen.
“Hey love, I’m sorry I couldn’t make it on ‘Showtime’ today. I’m currently setting up a shoot. I just wanted to say hello to everyone and I’m excited to go on this journey with you. I think we’re gonna kill it. I can’t wait to be a father to your child, and you, a mother to my child. I love you,” Heussaff said.
Curtis likewise expressed excitement as they embark on a new journey as parents-to-be.
“Thank you so much, mon amour. And I’m just as excited to go on this journey with you. Super akong kinakabahan (I am really nervous) but I know that we can do this together as we become parents to our little one. I love you, je t’aime, mon amour. I’m very very excited too,” Curtis said.
While admitting it was tough to keep the pregnancy a secret, Curtis said it was nice to keep the news first between her and Heussaff.
“It’s been quite a journey. We decided talaga na i-keep muna sa amin ni Erwan, kami lang talaga ang nakakaalam. Just because we wanted to keep the baby for us muna and it was really a nice journey,” Curtis said.

“Medyo nahirapan din kami noong una para hindi mahalata pero ang galing din, kasi hindi rin muna siya nagpakita masyado. And it was nice to share with Erwan and I, it was our little secret, and then now we are ready to share to the whole world, kaya ayan nagpapakita na talaga siya,” she added.

The couple announced Sunday they are expecting their first child in a video posted over their Instagram accounts, two days ahead of their second wedding anniversary.
