MANILA, Philippines — Miss Universe Philippines 2017 Rachel Peters took to Instagram on Sunday to announce her engagement with her boyfriend, Camarines Sur Gov. Miguel Luis “Migz” Villafuerte.
“Your girls getting hitched!” Peters captioned her photos, where she is hugging the young politician, her diamond ring visible.
Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach was first to congratulate the couple.
“So happy for you Rachel!!!!” she wrote.
The Binibining Pilipinas 2017 titleholder and Villafuerte celebrated their fifth anniversary last July.
