MANILA, Philippines — Actress Angel Locsin was spotted on Friday in Davao City buying sacks of rice and grocery items that will be distributed to quake-affected residents.
Several netizens posted photos of the actress clad in a black hat and a white-and-black top in the NCCC Uyanguren in Davao City buying relief goods.
Netizens praised Locsin, whom they described as “beautiful with a good heart.”
“Walang giyera, bagyo o lindol ang makakapigil kay Angel Locsin para sa pagtulong. Panis yang mga influencers niyo sa Darna ko na nasa Davao ngayon,” netizen Marvin Olivarez wrote.
Several buildings in Davao City and other parts of Mindanao sustained damage after a 6.5-magnitude quake hit Tulunan, Cotabato and nearby provinces.

The temblor has claimed the lives of five people, and injured eight others.
