Champ Lui Pio, frontman of the Filipino rock band Hale, and his wife Claire welcomed their first child into the world last Saturday, Oct. 19.
The vocalist shared a tender moment with his wife and their newborn Caden in a hospital room on Instagram yesterday, Oct. 20.
Lui Pio described the day of his child’s birth as the best day of his life. He also expressed his gratitude towards Claire for being strong.
Neri Naig, Yasmien Kurdi, Yeng Constantino and Angel Locsin were among the vocalist’s fellow celebrities who were quick to congratulate Lui Pio for the birth of his child.
The singer also had a sweet father-and-son moment with the newborn when he carried his “HaleBoy” in his arms.
VJ Chino Lui Pio, the vocalist’s brother, also shared the birth of Caden on his own Instagram page yesterday.
“Welcome to this beautiful world my little man!” he said. “Summers will be spent with Uncle in Siargao.”
Champ and Claire were engaged in August 2018.
Aside from his career in music, Champ has also ventured into business which includes the entertainment venue 12 Monkeys Music Hall & Pub, production house Sindikato Inc., indie music label Mecca Music and Siargao hostel Alpas. JB
