Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla jetted off to Iceland for a vacation together, after the actress’ accomplishments following the release of her latest film “Hello, Love, Goodbye”.
The on-screen and real-life partners arrived in the Nordic country yesterday, Sept. 29, as per Bernardo’s Instagram post on the same day.
The couple’s first tourist destination to visit was the iconic Blue Lagoon, a geothermal spa located in a lava field. Bernardo posted moments of her and Padilla swimming in its warm waters on Instagram.
The actress described their time in the geothermal spa as the “[best] decision after a [long] flight.”
After taking a dip in the lagoon, the two shared a sweet moment while viewing the famous Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights).
“Define magical. The northern lights decided to show up on our first day here, almost as if it was welcoming us,” Bernardo said in a separate Instagram post. “Thanks for showing up, Aurora Borealis!”
“Please feel free to do so again in the coming days,” she added. “We really don’t mind.”
This is not the first time the two have visited the said country. They were previously in Iceland for a cover shoot for Mega magazine back in 2016. Aside from Iceland, the two have also gone to Morocco and Japan.
The couple’s latest project together was the 2018 romantic drama film “The Hows of Us”. JB
