LISTEN: Nicki Minaj, PnB Rock, Murda Beatz collaborate in new single ‘Fendi’

Nicki Minaj and Murda Beatz join PnB Rock in his new song “Fendi”, which arrived ahead of Minaj’s “Fendi Prints On” collection with the Italian fashion house, which will launch in October.

In “Fendi”, Minaj reiterates her love for the opulent fashion house, rapping, “It’s Fendi, it’s poppin,’ and we on and poppin’.”

The Philadelphia native PnB Rock joins in, singing over a catchy beat, “Shorty got swag, she rocking Fendi, it’s all on her boots.”

“Fendi” was released a few weeks after Minaj announced her retirement from the music industry in pursuit of motherhood in a now-deleted tweet.

The rapper later apologized for the “abrupt and insensitive” manner of her declaration, and promised to clarify her plans soon.

In a recent interview with Elle, Minaj shared details about what would possibly be her last studio album, teasing that it would be a “fierce, fun and unapologetic” full-length one.

Although details about the project are still scarce, the yet-untitled album would mark her fifth studio effort, following her 2018 “Queen”. RGA/JB
