Korean actress-model Jinri Park questioned why clients take time to compensate their talents, after revealing that she has been waiting for some payments for up to four years already.

“Why can’t clients pay on time?” she said in her Twitter post last Monday, Sept. 23. “Yet they demand so much from talents.”

Her post came after Ethel Booba disclosed that she had not been compensated by “Minute To Win It” and “Gandang Gabi Vice” for some of her guestings in the said shows. Ethel claimed that the game show had not paid for almost a year.

“Clients demand so much professionalism from talents yet they lack so much of it themselves,” Park pointed out.

Unlike Ethel, who did not hold back from naming which TV shows have not paid her yet, Park chose to conceal the companies she was referring to.

“I really want to just reveal who these clients are. But I’m still being professional and patiently waiting,” Park added. “Now 3-4years of waiting. Don’t know how much longer I can wait.”

One of her followers, @jedinudge, advised Park not to allow her clients to “abuse” her and others, and that she can ask for help from the media.

“This is true. It’s been 4years,” Park replied. “I don’t even know if I’ll ever get paid.”

Another Twitter user, one @EugeneNazarius, told Park to mention the clients, so that others will not be victims of late payments as well.

Park responded, “This habit of clients delaying the payments of talents should really stop once and for all.”

Park retweeted Twitter user @jedinudge’s suggestion, which cited the investigative show “Imbestigador”, radio station DZBB and broadcast journalist Raffy Tulfo as possible media entities that could help her “put a stop to this abusive habit.”

The Twitter user also stressed that since the companies profit from Park’s talent, they must compensate her. NVG
