Judy Ann Santos was at her sexiest—all aglow during her launch as the new endorser of Eden Cheese. Now that she has curves in all the right places, would she be willing to pose for men’s magazines? “

“Naku! Let’s leave that to the younger ones,” she says, laughing. “My kids might question me one day if they see me on a centerfold wearing a bikini.”

Does she plan to have another baby or is she wary of gaining weight again? “Ryan and I are not rushing it,” she says, “nor are we avoiding it. But for now we enjoy lavishing our attention on Yohan and Lucho.”

FEATURED STORIES

Isn’t Yohan asking why she isn’t officially an Agoncillo yet? “Ryan and I got shocked when she said one day, ‘I don’t think I will ever be an Agoncillo,’” she reveals. “But we explained to her that it’s a legal process that takes time. It’s hard for her, because at school ’di maiwasan ang mga tanong na gano’n.”

Motherhood comes first for Juday. “I don’t want to miss out on any of the milestones in my kids’ lives because those cannot be recaptured,” she says. “So I always tell the producers that I don’t mind starting work early in the day, as long as I’m home by 9 p.m. so I can spend time with my family.”

Speaking of work, is she willing to be paired with Piolo Pascual again, after all the controversies they got embroiled in before? “As long as it’s a good project,” she says. “These days everyone has an opinion. I want to make sure that if and when Piolo and I do a movie, ’yung ’di kami mapupulaan. So dapat pag-aralang mabuti kung paano ito sisimulan, paano gagawin, at ano ang epekto sa tao.” Juday is one (super) star who simply outshines them all.

Priscilla’s baby

John and Priscilla Estrada are savoring the joys of parenthood. Their baby girl Sammanta Anechka is now one month old. They are planning her baptism in July or August so that Pri’s family in Brazil will have enough time to fly here.

Pri e-mailed me her sentiments about being a first-time mommy.  Viva la vida de mama Priscilla!

Mum’s the word

She says: “I am currently breastfeeding because I believe that it’s best for my baby. But it’s very hard and painful. Between tears of joy and pain I am glad to say that the biggest adjustment I have made so far is that my whole life now revolves around the most beautiful creature I have ever seen.

“All I think of is about the baby: Is she hungry, is it time to change her diapers, how soon can I go back to her as soon as I get to the grocery … in short it’s all about Anechka!

“She is the first thing I think of when I wake up, and the last thing I think of before falling asleep. Sleepless nights … no time to eat, and no social life are part of the package. I am a full-time mom and thankful for so many things. I thank God for a beautiful and healthy baby, for a good and supportive husband, for a wonderful mother, and for yayas!

“Regarding the whole experience of giving birth, I must say I was one of the few lucky pregnant women who did not feel any pain. I honestly never thought about the perfection of nature until they put my baby on my chest when she was born; how something so perfect and pure and beautiful could come from inside me!

“When she was born, the mother inside me was born, too. Now I feel I am no longer alone; I feel my life has a bigger purpose and I guess that is motherhood.”

New radio show

Heard that Grace Lee will soon have her own radio show on Magic 89.9 FM after she left DJ Mo’s program.

Is it true that she resigned because she was peeved at Mo’s incessant jokes about her and P-Noy?

The new show being cooked up for her is said to be wholesome and pleasant. Nothing annoying, perhaps just Noynoying?

All for the kids

ABS-CBN—recognized as a child-friendly TV station by the Anak TV Foundation—embraces its responsibility to promote values-oriented programs for Filipino children by launching the “Bida Best Kid” campaign to entertain and empower children.

The programs include “E-boy,” “Matanglawin,” “Wansapanataym,” “Sailor Moon,” “Naruto,” “Nickelodeon,” “Penguins of Madagascar,” and “X-Men.” All are aired on the Kapamilya network, Studio 23, anime cable TV channel Hero TV and, soon, on a free TV channel for kids to be offered on ABS-CBN Digital TV. They take kidstuff seriously! (For more info, visit www.
