After winning “Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky 7” in 2016, Maymay Entrata continues to share the rewards of her success with her family.
One of the people she has made sure to give back to is her own mom, Lorna Entrata, who is an overseas Filipino worker (OFW), it was revealed in the talk show “Magandang Buhay,” which aired on Wednesday, Sept. 18.
Entrata, 22, is contributing to a small house where her mom can live while in Japan. She said that her mom cried when she saw the place because she had been renting in Japan for 28 years.
“Ang mahal po kasi ng renta doon, so ngayon naiyak siya kasi may sariling bahay na siya, at hindi niya akalain na magkakabahay pa siya. Tapos, masaya rin ‘yung kapatid ko na bunso,” she said.
(Rent is expensive there, so she cried because she has her own house and she did not think she would ever get a house. My youngest sibling is happy too.)
The “Loving in Tandem” actress is also having a house built in her hometown in Camiguin for her family and gave a tricycle to a cousin, it was mentioned in the interview. She is providing for her sibling’s and three cousins’ educations as well.
As she keeps giving, blessings come to her too. She said that she was deciding on whether to have a house built first or buy a car, but an endorsement ended up with her being provided a car. Niña V. Guno /ra
