‘Overjoyed’ by 5th Gawad

Dolly Anne Carvajal, our Dollywood columnist, is “overwhelmed and overjoyed” for having been named Gawad Tanglaw’s best entertainment columnist for the fifth straight year.

At the recent awards rites, Dolly thanked the awards organizers, composed of academicians: “Love this ‘Hall of Famer’ feeling. My Tanglaw awards are the best reward for enduring all the controversies that have come my way. Thanks for your vote of confidence.”

She also thanked: “My Inquirer family, for standing by me no matter what,  my loyal readers, my TV5 ‘Paparazzi’ family, my kids Bianch and IC for inspiring me to become a better me, to AS for my daily dose of smiles and especially to my late great mom (Ludy Carvajal, aka Inday Badiday) who taught me well.”
