Janine Gutierrez got recognized in not one but two international publications for her street style at the New York Fashion Week (NYFW).
The actress has been making New York her own catwalk, stunning in polished and striking outfits. Two of these have made best-dressed lists: a dark teal suit and a pair of matching red denim jacket and jeans.
The sharp suit by Ziggy Savella caught the eye of E! News on Tuesday, Sept. 10, when it listed the best styles among fashionistas outside of the runways.

Gutierrez dared to go bare underneath the suit which was paired with Amina Muaddi pink satin slingbacks. Completing the look was bold pink eyeshadow and a slick high ponytail.
Her next look that turned heads was a red all-denim outfit with pieces from French fashion brand Mugler. The actress heightened the look with black Balenciaga boots. She shared a picture of her outfit, taken by Kirsten Albert, on Instagram on Sept. 13.
UK news site The Independent took notice, including Gutierrez’s outfit in its list yesterday for best street style. “This crimson co-ord wins all the style points thanks to the boxy cropped cut of the jacket and the flattering pinstripe detail,” it wrote.

Gutierrez’s other scene-stealing looks included a frillly orange Martin Bautista dress and a gray Tibi coat cinched with what looked like a belt bag.
This year’s NYFW runs from Sept. 6 to 14. /ra
