Lana Del Rey’s announcement of her next album arrived a few hours after the release of her new album, “Norman F**king Rockwell”.
Speaking to The Times, the musician said that she has started work on her next album, “White Hot Forever”.
“I’ve already written parts of it. It’s called ‘White Hot Forever’. I feel like it probably will be a surprise release sometime within the next 12 or 13 months,” she revealed, adding that she “do[esn]’t want to take a break” from music.
Details about “White Hot Forever” are still scarce. It will follow Del Rey’s sixth studio album, “Norman F**king Rockwell”, on which she worked with producer extraordinaire Jack Antonoff.
“Norman F**king Rockwell”, which Del Rey described as a “folk record with a little surf twist,” released August 30.

Del Rey dropped a number of singles like “Mariners Apartment Complex,” “Doin’ Time,” “F**k It, I Love You” and “The Greatest” ahead of the album release.
Most recently, she shared the accompanying visual for her Sublime cover “Doin’ Time,” directed by Rich Lee.
The American filmmaker also stepped into the director’s chair for the double music video for “F**k It I Love You” and “The Greatest.”
In a recent interview to Billboard, Del Rey opened up about the anxieties she had about collaborating with Antonoff on the album, as she was feeling uninspired at the time he approached her.
“I wasn’t in the mood to write. He wanted me to meet him in some random diner, and I was like, ‘You already worked with everyone else; I don’t know where there’s room for me,'” she said.
Del Rey will shortly embark on a U.S. and European tour in support of “Norman F**king Rockwell,” kicking off on September 21 in New York. NVG
