Alden Richards bags Asian Star Prize at Seoul International Drama Awards
MANILA, Philippines – Alden Richards earned another feather in his cap after receiving the Asian Star Prize at the Seoul International Drama Awards 2019.
Alden donned a navy blue suit as he walked down the red carpet at the Grand Peace Hall of Kyung Hee University in Seoul Wednesday.

“It’s such an honor to receive this award. As a Filipino, I am very humbled and grateful to be recognized in the international scene, along with so many amazing and talented artists here tonight,” Alden said in his acceptance speech.
“This award is also extra special to me because it comes at a time when we are celebrating 70 years of friendship between the Philippines and Korea,” he added.
Alden was awarded alongside Japanese actor and singer Miura Haruma.
Other Filipino actors who previously bagged the award were Dennis Trillo and Gabby Concepcion in 2016 and 2017, respectively.
Seoul International Drama Awards is an annual ceremony which honors excellence in television drama productions worldwide. /gsg
