‘Cuddle Weather’ will be a feast for the senses

If there is one sure way to get a sensitive issue out there, then it is to put it out there… in a movie. ‘Cuddle Weather’ is such a movie and its topic is prostitution. Yup, prostitution… something never mentioned directly but always said in whispers or alluded to. How this is interpreted by everyone in society, how it is viewed by those in the industry itself, and why people end up prostituting themselves in the first place… all these questions and more, I am hoping will be answered in the dark romantic-comedy ‘Cuddle Weather’ when it gets its nationwide release in cinemas beginning September 13, 2019.
Now, let’s get to the leading stars of ‘Cuddle Weather’. The vivacious, classy, and intelligent Sue Ramirez plays “Adela Johnson” a seasoned high-class prostitute who wants out of the seedy, dangerous, and self-destructive illegal trade she has found herself in. RK Bagatsing plays “RAM” who is new and naïve to the world of prostitution. The two of them will be the central focus of this movie. I find it interesting that the character dynamics are such that it is Sue Ramirez (as Adela Johnson) who will be RK Bagatsing’s (as RAM) mentor and teach him the in’s and out’s to be an in-demand and successful prostitute.

Sue Ramirez proves she is one feisty, fearless, fiery lady to accept this role because she knows she will surely get criticized and scrutinized by many people. Nevertheless, Sue Ramirez understands the importance of accepting daring, bold, and different roles such as this one. The portrayal of Sue Ramirez in ‘Cuddle Weather’ as “Adela Johnson” is as extreme as she has gone by far in her acting career both in television and the movies. That fact alone is captivating, intriguing, and interesting enough for any moviegoer to want to watch Sue Ramirez in ‘Cuddle Weather’.
‘Cuddle Weather’ is not going to be a documentary-style drama or anything that will be remotely too heavy for the moviegoer. Moviegoers will still have a good and fun time with this one because despite its serious subject matter this movie is going to be treated as a dark romantic-comedy. That means there are going to be a lot of laughs and hilarity in ‘Cuddle Weather’ and it is not going to depress or pull down the moviegoer.
On another note, it must be mentioned that the full-length official trailer of ‘Cuddle Weather’ has already reached over one million views in a short amount of time. That is an impressive statistic.
