It’s countdown time for Michael Jackson fanatics comme moi till his 61st birthday on Aug. 29. If MJ were not born, music and dance would not be as magical as the King of Pop’s timeless “creations.”
Even if it’s already been 10 years since MJ’s sudden demise, his hit songs and unique dance moves live on.
Thank you, MJ, for moonwalking into our hearts. You will forever remain a “thriller” like no other. There is no entertainer who can ever dethrone you as the true King of Pop.
In commemoration of my forever idol’s birthday, allow me to pay a little tribute to him by sharing some of his quotable quotes:

I don’t understand why the press feels the need to make up things about me. I suppose if there’s nothing scandalous to report, it is necessary to make things interesting.
The message my music video “Beat It” conveys is, you can walk away from a fight and still be a man. You don’t have to die to prove you’re a man.
Be cautious of decisions you have to make when your head says “yes” but your heart says “no.”
Trusting yourself begins by recognizing that it’s OK to be afraid. Having fear is not the problem. The problem is not being honest enough to admit your fear. In accepting yourself totally, trust becomes complete. In the space where fear used to live, love is allowed to grow.
To give someone a piece of your heart is worth more than all the wealth in the world.
