‘Isda’ swims to Fribourg

Adolfo Alix Jr.’s “Isda (Fable of the Fish)” will compete at the 26th Fribourg Film Festival in Switzerland (March 24 to 31). “Isda” has been to festivals in Busan, Toronto, Hong Kong, Kerala, Nantes, Dubai, Goteborg and Singapore. The Fribourg site says “Isda” uses “an extraordinary blend of magical realism and documentary precision… a moving, modern fable of faith, love, and hope.” Bayani San Diego Jr.
