LOOK: Carmina Villarroel, son Mavy spend quality time in London

Carmina Villarroel and Zoren Legaspi, together with their son Mavy, recently flew to London where Zoren participated in a bike race.

While Zoren was priming himself for the event, Villarroel and Mavy took some time to visit well-known places in the city, as seen in the actress’ Instagram post last Saturday, Aug. 3.

Mother and son visited the Wimbledon Center Court, which is considered the world’s most famous tennis court.

While they were there, Mavy looked back on the times he spent playing tennis while growing up. He also recalled how winning the Wimbledon Championship, a tennis tournament, had been a dream of his since 2006 until he quit the sport five years ago.

The duo dropped by other tourist spots in the city, as well. They took photos by the iconic Tower Bridge and the London Eye.

Meanwhile, Zoren was preparing for a biking event by cycling around the city with Kim Atienza and Gretchen Ho, as seen in Atienza’s Instagram post on the same day.

The day after, Villarroel and Mavy took the opportunity to visit the Notting Hill Bookshop, which inspired the 1999 film “Notting Hill.” They then went to Abbey Road, where a crossing was made famous by The Beatles.

The two did not pass on the opportunity to snap some photos at the iconic crossing. They happily posed on it, imitating The Beatles on the cover of their album named after the crossing.

Mother and son also showed up at the Pru RideLondon 100-mile event to congratulate Zoren for completing the course.

“congrats again tatay. Good Job!!!” Villarroel said, while posing with Zoren and Mavy. The proud wife shared the moment on Instagram yesterday, Aug. 5.
