Rejecting celeb’s resto boomerangs on leading mall
Sassy Jezebel (SJ) once sought audience with one of the country’s leading mall developers, in hopes of securing a space for the restaurant she was planning to open.
The management turned SJ down, believing that her star status doesn’t guarantee that her venture would be profitable.
And so, SJ opened her restaurant in a less-than-ideal location. But despite the setback, her food is proving to be a hit so far.
After getting wind of the restaurant’s unexpected popularity, the mall developer decided that SJ is now worthy of being given a space in one of their precious malls.
This time, they were the ones doing the courting. But SJ, savoring the sweet, sweet taste of success, said: “No, thank you.”
