Smiling Miley Cyrus flies into Manila
MANILA, Philippines—International teenage pop star Miley Cyrus arrived in Manila late Wednesday night, smiling gaily and waving at airport employees who patiently waited for a chance to see her in the flesh.
Cyrus of the hit TV series “Hannah Montana” flew in from Seoul, South Korea aboard Asiana Airlines flight OZ-703 at around 11:25 p.m.
A check with the Manila International Airport Authority’s Media Affairs Division showed that the flight was a connecting flight from Los Angeles in the United States.
The actress and singer arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 to a warm greeting both by airport employees and passengers who happened to chance upon her arrival.
“Hi Miley!” said some female employees queued at the Duty Free shops to see her, to which Cyrus flashed them a bright smile and waved as she walked by.
