MANILA, Philippines — Tributes and messages of consolation continue to flow for celebrated film actor and director Eddie Garcia.
Vice President Leni Robredo conveyed her grief on the passing of her fellow Bicolano, whom she described as “pillar” of Philippine movie and television industry.
Garcia died late Thursday afternoon at the Makati Medical Center after suffering from neck fracture, which he got from an accident while filming for an upcoming TV series in Tondo, Manila last June 8. He consequently fell into coma.
