MANILA, Philippines – Former actor and Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) alumnus Bodie Cruz is set to be ordained as a pastor today, Tuesday, June 18, his father, veteran actor Tirso Cruz III shared in an Instagram post.
In his social media post, Tirso is seen breaking the good news to his departed first born, Teejay, who he recently lost to cancer.
“GODly heavenly morning TJ. Today is a very special day for us, and more so for your brother @bodiecruz,” Tirso said in his post.
“As we Christians would say, “This is the day that the Lord has made, we shall rejoice and be glad in it, he added.
According to Tirso, Bodie will be ordained to become a pastor of Victory Church.
“We are all very excited for this event as I know you would have been too if you were here,” Tirso said about Bodie’s big day.
“I know how much you love and how proud you are of your brother.”
Bodie is the second child of Tirso with his wife, Lyn Ynchausti.
The 33-year-old former actor was “housemate” in “Pinoy Big Brother: Season 2” in 2007. (Editor: Gilbert S. Gaviola)
