Pokwang asks GrabFood users not to cancel orders

MANILA, Philippines — Comedienne Pokwang on Tuesday appealed to GrabFood users not to cancel their orders.

Pokwang reminded her followers on Instagram to double check their orders and not cancel once the riders already bought their food through the food delivery service app.

“PLEASE MAKE SURE NA TAMA ORDER NIYO and DO NOT CANCEL kapag nakita niyong naka-order na sila ng pagkain niyo,” Pokwang said.

By using the GrabFood application, users can order food online from the app’s partner merchants.

The rider pays for the order first and have it reimbursed by the customer on delivery.

“Karamihan din sa kanila ay mga ama, ama na malinis at marangal na naghahanap buhay para maitaguyod ang pamilya kesa magnakaw, naaawa ako sa mga Grab drivers na nag-aabono dahil nagka-cancel ang mga customers kung kelan nakabili na sila,” Pokwang said.

“Kaya maawa kayo sa mga riders ng GRAB FOOD. Sila nag-papaluwal, pumipila, naghihintay at naghahatid ng pagkain sa atin para hindi na tayo lumabas ng bahay,” she added.

Pokwang also suggested that customers give riders tips if they have extra cash to spare.

“At kung may extra money pa tayo, bigyan natin sila ng tip, lalo na kung malayo ang pinang-orderan nila, or pumila sila ng 40 minutes para sa milk tea cravings natin,” the comedienne said.  (Editor: Mike U. Frialde)
