“Eve of Destruction” appears on The Chemical Brothers’ ninth full-length as a duo, “No Geography”, out last April.

Following the release of the record, The Chemical Brothers have unveiled a new visual for the album opener.

The video, directed by the band’s longterm collaborators Adam Smith and Marcus Lyall, depicts various costumed characters engaged in a retro-futuristic dance battle.

Among them is Norwegian singer Aurora, who is dressed in an outfit reminiscent of 1960s anime and manga series “Speed Racer”.

The singer-songwriter, who does vocals in the song, is one of two guest artists featured in the latest album, along with Japanese rapper Nene.

The album marks the Chemical Brothers’ first full-length since their 2015 “Born in the Echoes”.

It features singles like “Free Yourself”, “MAH”, “Got to Keep On” and “We’ve Got to Try”, whose accompanying music videos were all unveiled ahead of the album’s release.

This June, the Chemical Brothers will be performing at Glastonbury Festival alongside headliners as The Cure, The Killers and Stormzy.

Next fall, the English duo will also release a new expanded version of “Surrender”, to celebrate the album’s forthcoming 20th anniversary.

The reissue will feature previously unheard “Secret Psychedelic Mixes” of the full-length’s tracks, as well as a DVD containing the duo’s Glastonbury 2000 performance. RGA/JB
