MANILA, Philippines — Megastar Sharon Cuneta turned on Sunday when she and daughter Miel Pangilinan personally met members of the Korean boy group NCT 127.
The veteran actress and her daughter got a once-in-a-lifetime chance to meet the group backstage during the K-pop World Music Festival at the Mall of Asia (MOA) Arena on Sunday.
“Lord Jesus thank You for this once-in-a-lifetime chance!!! Miel and I feel so blessed!!!” Cuneta captioned a photo of herself and Miel with the group.
She thanked comedian Vice Ganda who called Ryan Bang, the music festival’s host, and gave them the opportunity to meet the group.
“AAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much to my Vicey @praybeytbenjamin for calling and calling Ryan Bang in the middle of his emceeing!!! You made our whole year!!!” Cuneta wrote in a separate post.
“And thank you dear Ryan Bang for getting us through the boys’ masusungit na handlers!!! Mahal ka namin grabe!!!!!!!!” she added.
Prior to the show, the Megastar also posted her outfit of the day with daughter Miel and proudly wore a shirt imprinted with “NCTzen Momma.”
“NCTzen” is the fandom name of NCT 127.
NCT 127 performed their hit songs “Superhuman,” “Simon Says,” “Cherry Bomb,” among others.
