Original “Charmed” actress Alyssa Milano isn’t happy about being left out with her former costars in the reboot of the show, which was launched late last year.
“That ship has sailed,” the actress-activist recently told Us Weekly. “I think that they ruined the possibility of [a reunion] by the way in which the reboot came down. Like, the fact that we weren’t included from the very beginning. It just felt really disrespectful, you know?”
Milano, who starred in the eight-season show about good sister witches with Shannen Doherty, Holly Marie Combs and Rose McGowan, added, “It’s sad, too, because I think we all would have come [together] to do something. It would have been amazing.”
Combs also disliked not being asked back, expressing her dismay in a tweet last year: “‘Charmed’ belongs to the four of us, our vast [number] of writers, crew and predominantly the fans. FYI, you will not fool them by owning a title/stamp. So, bye.”
Doherty, however, told ET last year, “I think second lives are amazing, so I’m all for it.”
McGowan also had “zero reboot issues.” She tweeted months before the airing of the new show: “I wish everyone the best … Fly, girls, fly.” —OLIVER PULUMBARIT
