Heaven Peralejo admits hiding being courted by Jimuel Pacquiao

MANILA, Philippines — Actress and former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate Heaven Peralejo admitted she initially hid being courted by Jimuel Pacquiao, son of the boxing champ Sen. Manny Pacquiao.
“Na-pressure ako. Kaya itinago namin for a while habang nanliligaw po, habang hindi pa sure,” Peralejo said Tuesday in an interview with “Magandang Buhay,.” an ABS-CBN morning talk show.
“Sabi ko: ‘Atin na lang muna, privacy muna.’ Kasi ayaw ko rin naman na ang daming masabi ng mga tao and hindi ko din naman po maiiwasan ‘yon,” she added. “So parang mas gusto kong i-cherish na lang kung ano ang mayroon kami at hindi siya ano sa public eye.”
The 19-year-old Peralejo said it took a year before she said yes to Pacquiao because she did not want to rush entering a relationship.
“One year din po siya nangligaw,” Peralejo said. “Ako kasi po, gusto kong makita ’yung effort. At saka naghihintay din po ako ng sign, hinihintay din po ako na ready ako. Kasi siyempre ayaw kong pumasok sa first relationship ko na nagmamadali.”
The Pacquiao’s son ended speculations when he revealed their romance last March.
