MANILA, Philippines — Maryknoll College Class of 1976 is sponsoring the Sunday, June 23 2 p.m. show of “Beautiful: The Carole King Musical” at the Meralco Theatre for the benefit of the Maryknoll/Miriam Adult Education, a pioneer in adult education in the country.

The Tony, Olivier, and Grammy Award-winning musical tells the story of American singer-songwriter Carole King’s early life and career from teen songwriter to Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee.

“Beautiful” features unforgettable classics like “You’ve Got A Friend”, “One Fine Day”, “So Far Away”, “It’s Too Late”, “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow”, “Beautiful”, “Up On the Roof” and many more.

The Wall Street Journal describes the musical as “out-of-control amazing” and is a show with “songs that will take you on a ride of a lifetime,” according to a Broadway critique.
