MANILA, Philippines — Television host Gretchen Ho denied being involved in a supposed plot to oust President Rodrigo Duterte with her name having been included in another matrix released by Malacañan Palace.

“Regarding being included in the ‘matrix,’ I don’t even know who Bikoy is, I have never watched the videos nor shared them, and I have no idea who Rodel Jayme is. You can check all of my social media pages. Thanks,” Ho said in a tweet Wednesday.

Ho made the tweet after presidential spokesperson Salvador Panelo bared a matrix supposedly showing that the Liberal Party, the Magdalo party-list group, some media entities — which included Ho — were in a plot to discredit Duterte and boost the candidacies of opposition senatorial bets.

“The President has received intelligence information that has been validated and appears to show that there is deliberate attempt to discredit this administration, as well as to boost the candidacies of the opposition, senatorial candidates,” Panelo said.

But before the matrix was released Wednesday, Ho attended a private dinner, along other personalities, in Malacañang, which was hosted by the President and his partner, Cielito “Honeylet” Avanceña.

A netizen pointed this out in a tweet, saying: “Nasa matrix ng ouster plan si gretchen ho pero nakasama ni duterte magdinner kagabi.”

And Ho quoted this, saying: “So ano ba talaga? Am I trying to OUST or SUPPORT the government?”

Ho also clarified the private dinner was not exclusive to supporters of the President: “We were invited to a ‘private dinner’ in Malacañang. Hindi po sinabi na for ‘supporters’ of the President. I was there to have conversation & decided it would help to know the other side of things.”

Among the celebrities who attended the dinner were Mariel Rodriguez, Robin Padilla, Paul Soriano, Toni Gonzaga, Alex Gonzaga, Liza Diño, and Ice Seguerra.
