Actress Sunshine Cruz took to social media recently to warn potential guests of Hotel PaPa Whale in Taipei, Taiwan, about its beds infested with blood-sucking fleas.
Cruz, who was on vacation with daughters Angelina, Sam and Chesca, shared that the hotel was infested with bedbugs.
“Guys, warning lang (just a warning). If you happen to plan a trip to Taiwan, think twice before staying in Hotel Papa Whale,” Cruz said via Facebook on May 4. “The hotel is infested with bed bugs.”
In her post, Cruz shared photos of what appeared to be her and her daughters’ legs, arms and ankles covered with bedbug bites. She also posted a short video clip of what seemed to be bedbugs inside the duvet.
Cruz added that their big group of 40 suffered from the numerous bedbug bites on their bodies. Meanwhile, Hotel Papa Whale said they could not do anything about the situation and also told them to pay extra after they asked to be transferred rooms.
“As much as we wanted to leave or transfer to another hotel, we’re a group of 40 and it was difficult to transfer,” said Cruz.
Cruz and her daughters are finally back in Manila, and said their goal is to not let any of the bedbugs infest their house. /ra
