Noblezada was nominated as Best Actress in a leading role for the Broadway musical “Hadestown” where she portrayed the role of Eurydice.

“Can’t believe it. Wow. We don’t make art for recognition. We do it because it heals us. And I represent myself, but more so the magical humans I fall in love with every night. Thank you,” Noblezada wrote in a tweet Tuesday night.

Under this year’s best lead actress in a music category, Noblezada is up against Stephanie J. Block in “The Cher Show,” Caitlin Kinnunen in “The Prom,” Beth Leavel in “The Prom” and Kelli O’Hara in “Kiss Me, Kate.”

Meanwhile, “Hadestown” led all shows with 14 nods including best musical, original score, choreography and costume design.

This year’s Tony Awards will be held on June 9 and will be hosted by James Corden.
