But of course, no one wants to spoil the movie, so most of the impressions online were kept vague by fans who saw the film ahead of everyone.

As it premiered in the Philippines, Marvel buffs who lined up early to see the movie have one advice to those who are just about to watch it: please bring some tissues.

Here are some of the spoiler-free reactions after one of screenings of “Avengers: Endgame” in SM Southmall.

“The whole movie was amazing, totally amazing. And the whole experience was really good, I’ve been waiting for it for a really long time so it was totally worth it to watch,” Akiko Abad, an audience member, said.

For Michael Quizon, it was the final scenes that made the movie explosive.

“I’m a guy na cheap thrills lang eh. ‘Pag binigyan mo ako ng mga pasabog na maliit lang, okay, fine. Pero yung finale talaga grabe. I swear,” he gushed.

It was not only the end, but the middle part of the movie was also jam-packed with wow moments.

“Actually gitna pa lang ang dami nang pasabog. More than you expected talaga as in,” Pamela Andres said.

For Andre Co and Cerah Co, who have been following all the Marvel films since the first Iron Man movie in 2008, it was a satisfying conclusion to the saga and one with “a lot of heart.”

“Ako, I super enjoyed it. The fanboy in me, parang everything that you’d expect for, kasi a lot of real fans or somebody who’s been following the comics ever since, you kinda have expectations to what will come out and ‘Endgame’ just blew everything away. It’s the perfect ending to this phase of Marvel,” Andre said.

For Cerah, even non-Marvel fans would definitely enjoy the film: “There were so many wow moments and also emotional moments, but I think even if you’re not a huge Marvel fan or even a fan of the comics, if you just really fan of the comics, if you just really love watching movies and entertainment, I think you’re really gonna enjoy it.”

To those who have yet to see the film, Andre gave this tip: “Dont drink a lot of water.”

It’s a good advice since “Avengers: Endgame” runs for three hours and 2 minutes.

“I think it’s a good thing to kind of refresh yourself with all the 22 movies before this.

It’s nice to come in prepared, but either way you’re really gonna enjoy it,” Cerah added. /je
