Kris Aquino chides netizen for questioning her use of free app
MANILA, Philippines — Kris Aquino was irked by a netizen who questioned her use of a free app.
Aquino reposted on Tuesday a video of her reaction when the recent earthquake struck in the middle of an interview with reporters.
But a certain @amberricafort on Instagram noticed something else other than the video itself.
The netizen commented: “YOU’RE THE KRIS AQUINO BUT YOU’RE USING THE ‘INSHOT’ APP? THE FREE APP? I THOUGHT YOU ARE A LEGIT #POSH #SOSHAL QUEEN. WHY USE A CHEAP APP? EW!”
Aquino replied: “Because kailangan maging PRACTICAL now. Tinulungan ako ng staff sa house, this was what they had & na bluetooth to me. Nageedit ang mga taga KCAP [Kris Cojuangco Aquino Productions], so sariling sikap kami sa green meadows…”

Aquino pointed out it is a need to save as she explained the amount of tax she paid.
“Kailangan kasi magtipid…ito na ang accurate ha P44,806,132.54 ang total taxes kong binayad sa BIR [Bureau of Internal Revenue] — withholding tax and annual income tax for 2018,” she said.
“Dagdag pa natin yung P3M for first quarter na nakastandby because BIR issued a memorandum that the bank which used to handle my online payments will no longer accept online payments for 2019,” she continued.
Aquino then asked for the netizen’s advice: “Since you seem to be really wealthy, you have a bank you can suggest? The advice would be appreciated.”
Comedienne K Brosas came to the defense of Aquino: “Yan talaga issue mo? Lahat naman tayo mag ‘free apps’ or below the sea level lng IQ mo?”
